Information on 5G
Our repeaters amplify 5G
What is 5G?
5G is the fifth generation of cellular networks. Up to 100 times faster than 4G, 5G is creating never-before-seen opportunities for people and businesses.
5G’s faster connectivity speeds, ultra-low latency and greater bandwidth is advancing societies, transforming industries and dramatically enhancing day-to-day experiences. Services, previously seen as futuristic, such as e-health, connected vehicles and traffic systems and advanced mobile cloud gaming, have arrived.
Main benefits of 5G
LOW LATENCY
4G has a 20-50 millisecond signal delay whereas 5G has as little as 1 millisecond delay.
GREATER SPEEDS
5G provides much faster speeds compared to 4G, with potential speeds in excess of 500Mb/s.
MORE BANDWIDTH
Bandwidth can be visualised as the number of parallel data streams. The more streams available, the more users can access the data at the same time.
Carrier aggregation
When the mobile operator combines two frequency bands to produce higher bandwidth, it is known as Carrier Aggregation. It is one of the key 5G technologies. It substantially improves bandwidth and data rates. All Titan repeaters allow Carrier Aggregation to take place ensuring the highest bandwidth possible.
5G frequencies
While 5G is already available at 700MHz in the majority of EU countries, it is also beginning to be deployed at 2100MHz. By the time you are reading this, it will probably be transmitted on other bands also. The operators have a strong incentive to do this because 5G makes far better use of the spectrum compared to GSM and 4G.
Stella Doradus multi-band repeaters, like the Titan, amplify 5G.

Titan iRepeater amplifies 5G
The Titan repeater amplifies all operators on 6 cellular bands. Regardless of the service type (2G/3G/4G/5G), this repeater will safeguard and future-proof your premises.
